Quick Summary

Project Details

Construction of a new pile-supported animal services facility, complete with off-site storm and sanitary work, adjacent tow-yard parking lot, and related offices.  This project was constructed adjacent to an active rail spur on one side, street on another, and lane and waterway on a third.  All underground piping had to be mechanically supported to resist against ground settlement.  The slab-on-grade was required to be poured monolithically with grade-beams and pile-caps, necessitating biodegradable formwork under the slab.  The project Included food prep, administration, intake, animal segregation, exercise, and veterinary areas to name but a few, all built to current Canadian Standards of Care in Animal Shelters and Supporting ASV Guidelines.
