Mark began with édifice in 2004, as a superintendent.  He quickly and consistently proved his worth and earned his way up to Project Coordinator, Manager,  VP Operations and finally to full partner, before eventually taking over the role of President in 2021.  He is a CCA Gold-Seal certified Project Manager, BCIT certified Building Construction Technologist, PMI certified Project Management Professional, and LEED certified Professional.  He has managed a variety of construction projects including healthcare, warehousing, retail, seismic upgrades, commercial, institutional and tenant improvements.  Mark has a keen sense of how to zero in on the issues that matter, to get the job done, while fostering a spirit of cooperation and respect for all involved. His specialisations include Animal Shelters, Clean-Rooms, Rail extensions, churches, and many other unique construction processes.  In addition, Mark is very familiar with working in “live” environments where the public is in very close proximity to the work area, having managed projects like a high-school expansion while school was in session, or structural and architectural modifications inside the WorkSafeBC main building in Richmond and several phases of significant structural/architectural modifications to the head offices of some furtune-500 clients, all in a fully “live” environment.  His keenly cooperative management style will ensure édifice’s continued growth and success well into the future.
